Public-side Textpattern Plugins
rss_suparchive
The rss_suparchive is a super article archive and article listing plugin. It can generate article listings by date or by category and section. It can be used for anything from an archive section to a related articles list. It can also generate an archive menu grouped by month or year.
rss_suparchive_bycat
The rss_suparchive_bycat tag will generate an article listing grouped by category and optionally by section within each category. The total number of articles in each category and/or section can also be displayed.
rss_suparchive_menu
The rss_suparchive_menu tag will generate a listing of months or years along with the total number of posts belonging to each grouping and a link to your archive section.
rss_unlimited_categories
The rss_unlimited_categories plugin enables you to assign an unlimited number of categories to an article so that you’re not limited to the default number allowed by Textpattern (2).
rss_live_archive
The rss_live_archive plugin is an implementation of Michael Heilemann’s idea of a digging archive. It is an AJAX based plugin that works similarly to rss_live_search. The plugin gives you the ability to drill down through your archives by selecting the year, then the month and finally the specific post.
rss_live_search
The rss_live_search plugin brings live search functionality to Textpattern with a very simple installation process. Once installed, search results will be returned “live” as users type into the search input field. You can see it in action on my site search above.
rss_thumbpop
The rss_thumbpop plugin is a flexible thumbnail image gallery in table or float format. The thumbnails can link to a full size popup image by itself or in a page with its caption. The full size image can also be displayed on the same page either directly above or below the thumbnails.
rss_spread_firefox
The rss_spread_firefox plugin generates a Firefox button for your site based on those available on the SpreadFirefox! site.
rss_posted
The rss_posted plugin is an alternative to the standard <txp:posted/> tag. The major addition is that each part of the date (year, month and day) will be hyperlinked.
rss_bbclone_popular
The rss_bbclone_popular plugin will list the x most popular pages according to hits counted by bbClone.
rss_linkcat_list
The rss_linkcat_list plugin generates a listing of hyperlinked category names with an optional display of the number of links assigned to that category.
rss_link_date
The rss_link_date plugin simply adds the ability to display the date a link was added on a link form. This requires Textpattern Rev 366 or later.
rss_author_info
The rss_author_info plugin provides the ability to display more than just an author’s name including a URL, nickname, bio, email, image, total number of live posts and the last posted date for each author. This plugin is ideal multi-author sites.
rss_author_email
The rss_author_email plugin is used to display the article author’s name as a mailto link.
rss_if_author
The rss_if_author plugin allows for the conditional display of data based on the article author.
rss_article_edit
The rss_article_edit plugin allows you to add an edit link for articles to you public website that can only be seen by you. Clicking the link will bring you into the TXP admin interface article editing view for that article allowing you to edit articles without having to search for them in the article listing.
rss_googlemap_stats
The rss_googlemap_stats plugin displays recent visitors to your site on a Google Map along with a chart of recent visitors below.
rss_google_map
The rss_google_map plugin displays data from articles on a Google Map. This could be useful on personal/travel sites to indicate the location that a post refers to or on business sites to indicate office location(s) on a single map.
rss_if_search_results
The rss_if_search_results plugin allows for the conditional display of data when search results are (or are not) present on the current page.
rss_auto_excerpt
The rss_auto_excerpt plugin automatically displays article excerpts even if an excerpt has not been saved with an article. If for some articles you have defined an excerpt, your own excerpt will be displayed rather than the auto-generated excerpt.
rss_category_cloud
The rss_category_cloud plugin displays a weighted list of all categories as a tag cloud.
Admin-side Textpattern Plugins
rss_unlimited_categories
The rss_unlimited_categories plugin enables you to assign an unlimited number of categories to an article so that you’re not limited to the default number allowed by Textpattern (2).
rss_admin_quikpik
The rss_admin_quikpik plugin adds a dropdown menu to the top of the Textpattern admin interface. The plugin contains default styling for the menu but you have the ability to override that default style.
rss_admin_resize
The rss_admin_resize plugin allows you to customize the size of the primary textareas and input fields while editing articles, pages, styles and forms.
rss_admin_show_adv_opts
The rss_admin_show_adv_opts plugin is used to automatically expand the advanced article options when you’re on the content -> write tab without having to manually click the “Advanced Options” link.
rss_admin_db_manager
The rss_admin_db_manager plugin gives you full control over your Textpattern database. It gives you the ability to backup your database, download your backups, restore your backups if necessary, view the current status of your database tables and restore them if necessary and run SQL statements against your data base. You can think of this plugin as a lightweight eplacement for phpMyAdmin.
rss_article_edit
The rss_article_edit plugin allows you to add an edit link for articles to you public website that can only be seen by you. rss_pluginstaller
The rss_pluginstaller plugin is a new way to install and update all of the Textpattern plugins available here at wilshire|one. Once you download and install the PlugInstaller, you will never have to download another wilshire|one plugin again! All plugins can be downloaded and installed or updated right inside your Textpattern installation.
